Mother Nature Spits on Global Warming
So last week we had a number of days in the upper 60s and 70s. Some nice showers and the warmer temps have combined to make the grass green up and the bulbs pop and the trees bud. It is all very Spring like.

And yet, this morning the temperature is tongue-stuck-to-ice-cube cold and snowflakes are flying. They aren't accumulating, but it is still an insult.

I could really go for some global warming right about now...

i'd like to say we have accumulated snow... enough that i spent 30 minutes yesterday clearing my car off and digging it out of the parking lot whilst in my dress clothes to go to practicum at the high school, only to discover the high school was closed for a snow day, which nobody thought would be good for me to know. ahem.

there is quite a bit of snow here, and the flakes are still flying. it's !april!

[/rant over. thanks, dear.]
